Gather your materials

Use the black marble epoxy kit from STonecoat Countertops. Additionally, gather supplies such as a trowel, chip brush, spreader and disposable buckets.

Paint an undercoat

Paint the MDF base with an undercoat, choose the color depending on the color of epoxy countertop you will be creating.

Pour the epoxy

Pour the epoxy, spread with a trowel, chop with a brush.

Add marble veining and top coat

Add veining with white epoxy then blend and let dry. Add a top coat of clear epoxy.

Use a heat gun.

Use a heat gun to remove air bubbles in the epoxy.
