This living room refresh was almost 4 years in the making! I slowly chipped away at multiple projects, and it’s done…for now.
The thing that I love most about DIY is that I change my mind often. As trends go in and out of style, I like various things and want to incorporate or change aspects of my home. For example, the original built-ins that I did in this room have already had a refresh where I added an arch and reeded doors!
Doing these projects myself allows me the freedom to keep them budget-friendly, which makes it easier when I decide to go in a new direction after a few years.
